Since early 2023, the first compact portal milling machine from Fooke’s new ENDURA® 400LINEAR series has been producing highly precise casting moulds in the in-house mould production at Pentas Moulding B.V. This new machine acquisition marks a first for both companies. The Pentas team uses their new 5-axis portal milling machine to achieve the required surface quality when producing aluminium moulds for rotational casting. This gives Pentas, an experienced specialist in rotational moulding, a significant advantage.

From planning and design to the creation of milling programmes, Pentas manufactures intricate aluminium moulds. A modern milling machine, like the one supplied by Fooke, is essential to meeting high-quality standards and achieving excellent geometries. The addition of the ENDURA® 411LINEAR opens up new opportunities and competitive advantages: large moulds can now be produced in one piece, eliminating individual production and assembly steps. This not only saves time but also provides Pentas with a unique selling point in the industry.
